Embracing the uncertainty of your 20s

Your 20s are often presented as the time when you should have everything figured out; your career, finances, relationships, purpose, and future. Social media can make this pressure even stronger, as we constantly see people our age celebrating new jobs, businesses, degrees, travels, and other achievements. But life does not follow one timeline. Some people discover their passion early, while others need more time to understand what they truly want. Not having everything figured out at 20, 22, or 25 does not mean you are behind. Growth often comes through trying, failing, changing direction, and learning from experience. For young people, the goal should not be to compete with someone else's timeline. Instead, focus on building yourself, one step at a time, develop useful skills, build meaningful relationships, take opportunities, learn from your mistakes, and remain open to change. Your 20s are not a deadline. They are a period of discovery, preparation, and growth. You don't have to have your whole life figured out. You just have to keep moving forward.
