J.K. Horgle pays courtesy call on UPSA Vice-Chancellor, expresses gratitude for naming of Transport and Logistics Centre

Renowned transport and logistics entrepreneur Joseph Kwaku Horgle has paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of University of Professional Studies, Accra, John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, to express his gratitude to the University for naming its newly established J.K. Horgle Transport and Logistics Centre in his honour. The visit followed the inauguration of the Centre on July 2, 2026. Prof. Mawutor praised Mr. Horgle for his immense contribution to Ghana's transport and logistics industry and described him as a distinguished UPSA alumnus whose achievements continue to inspire students. He noted that the Centre will serve as a hub for research, innovation, and practical training in the transport and logistics sector. Mr. Horgle thanked the University Council and Management for the recognition, describing it as one of the greatest honours of his professional career. He also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Centre's vision of strengthening research, professional development, and collaboration between academia and industry.
