Shatta Wale urges UPSA students to ‘build your mind’ at UPSA-1000 & Ghana entrepreneurship conference 2026.

Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., popularly known as Shatta Wale, has urged students of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) to develop their minds and embrace entrepreneurship. Speaking at “A Day with Shatta Wale” as part of the UPSA-1000 and Ghana Entrepreneurship Conference 2026, he urged students to focus on the mindset behind success rather than material possessions. “Don’t copy my life, copy my thinking,” he said. Vice Chancellor of UPSA, Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, said Shatta Wale was invited because of his resilience, determination and entrepreneurial mindset. He also disclosed that the musician had donated 10 laptops to UPSA and sponsored the conference. Shatta Wale ended his address with a simple message to students: “Build your mind.”
