Departmental elections held across four departments at UPSA as new leaders emerge

The Communication Studies Students Association (ComSSA), Information Technology Students Association (ITSA), Department of Accounting Students Association (DASA), and the Association of Marketing Students (AMS) within the University of Professional Studies, Accra, successfully held their departmental elections on April 10, with winners emerging across all four departments. In the Department of Accounting Students Association (DASA), Aba Badu-Prah was elected president, with Samuel Antwi serving as vice president, alongside other executives elected to various positions within the association. Similarly, the Information Technology Students Association (ITSA) elected Bright Kofi Bediako as president, with Gloria Arkoh Akua Asare as vice president, together with a team of executives to support the administration. In the Communication Studies Students Association (ComSSA), Louis Coffie emerged as president, with Agyen Oheneba Obeng as vice president, supported by other elected officers. However, the Association of Marketing Students (AMS) also conducted its elections, with Ebenezer Krampah elected as president and Jonathan Agbeke as vice president, alongside other executives chosen to serve in various capacities. The elections across the four departments were conducted to select leaders who will represent and serve the interests of students within their respective departments. The newly elected executives are expected to assume office in the coming days.
