University of professional studies, Accra(UPSA) secures ACBSP Re-Accreaditation

The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has secured re-accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), reaffirming its position as Ghana's first and only ACBSP-accredited business university. The announcement was made at the 2026 ACBSP Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, held from June 11 to 13, where UPSA joined institutions from across the world to celebrate excellence in business education. The re-accreditation recognizes the University's continued adherence to international standards in leadership, curriculum quality, faculty qualifications and student learning outcomes. The achievement reflects UPSA's commitment to academic excellence, innovation and the delivery of industry-relevant business education that prepares graduates for a competitive global environment. In addition to the re-accreditation, three UPSA officials were appointed to key ACBSP Region 8 committees, a development expected to enhance the University's influence within the global accreditation body. The appointments further strengthen UPSA's international visibility and provide a platform for the University to contribute to the advancement of business education across Africa.
