UPSA students launch market-ready businesses through practical learning

Students of the Master of Arts in Brands and Communications Management programme at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), have developed and launched two business concepts, Rokalu Cleaning Solutions and Golden Roots Foods Limited, as part of a practical academic initiative aimed at transforming classroom knowledge into real-world enterprise. The projects provided students with the opportunity to apply skills acquired in branding, marketing, communications, entrepreneurship, and strategic management to address real business challenges. The initiative reflects the programme's focus on combining theory and practice to equip students with industry-relevant competencies and entrepreneurial capabilities. The launch further demonstrated UPSA's commitment to its philosophy of "Scholarship with Professionalism," showcasing how graduate education can foster innovation, creativity, and business development while preparing students to become future industry leaders and entrepreneurs.
